USCRI NC Takes Part in Panel at Duke Law School

On Monday, September 11th, 2017, Hila Moss and Kevin Schroeder, from the Raleigh Office of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, were invited to Duke Law School to take part in a discussion on the legality of President Trump’s Travel Ban and its implications for immigration practitioners. The panel was sponsored by the Federalist Society and Immigrant & Refugee Project.  It is clear to see that the discussion of immigration and refugees is one that is not limited to the political arena, as Duke is one of 17 universities that recently filed an amicus brief opposing the administration’s immigration order.
