Students enrolled in Marlboro College‘s TESOL program (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) are now able to spend a year learning and practicing teaching English at most of USCRI’s resettlement field offices around the country.
The program is mutually beneficial–students receive practical experience and needs of refugees are met.
Kevin Quigley, President of Marlboro College, has spoken out against President Trump’s recent Executive Orders affecting refugees. Marlboro College is hopeful that this program will be another way to support and welcome refugees coming to the United States.
