Imagine coming to a new country with your entire family and only a few suitcases.
You would need some help to get started in your new home!

Our staff, volunteers, and donors help refugee families feel welcome in their new community.  Check out our most up-to-date donations list below to see if there are in-kind contributions that your family, church, school, etc. may be interested in! To learn more about our donation process and schedule a donation, please contact Anna Wageling at or 802-338-4632. Monetary contributions and donated gift cards are also greatly appreciated by refugee families. Donations to us, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, are tax-deductible.

Household Goods

Below is a list of the items most needed to set up a household for a refugee family. While there are many other things that may be useful, we have limited storage space and have to prioritize these essential items. We accept new and gently used items and cannot make repairs or launder items.

Please note that we do not currently have the capacity to accept children’s clothing.
