Giving to USCRI

Refugees and immigrants rely on private donors for legal services, household needs, and often workforce development. People like you have been helping us to guide newcomers to self-sufficiency for decades. Select one of the four program areas that need your support, or simply assign your gift to where it’s needed most.

Field Offices

Field Offices

USCRI field offices welcome immigrants and refugees by providing support for basic needs, like finding homes and meaningful work, enrolling children in school, learning English or enhancing  job skills. The goal is self-sufficiency and adjustment to life in the U.S.

Pro Bono Legal Services

Pro Bono Legal Services

Immigrants and refugees need to file paperwork to stay and work in the US. USCRI assists with this and provides know-your-rights clinics.  When an unaccompanied child is required to appear in immigration court, USCRI may provide representation. And if the government re-vets 230,000 recent immigrants, they will need legal advice. Your gift can support these Legal Services and more.

Policy & Advocacy

Policy & Advocacy

USCRI’s Policy & Advocacy team turns frontline experience into testimony, briefings, and advocacy that inform Congress, federal agencies, the media, and partners. We pair data with the stories of refugees, asylum seekers, and trafficking survivors to advance policies that protect people and strengthen communities.

How We Use Our Funds

By giving to USCRI, you provide the welcome that is someone’s new beginning.

Last year, USCRI welcomed more than 15,000 newcomers seeking a chance to rebuild their lives. More than 2,500 children found care, classrooms, and comfort. Thousands of families received legal guidance, medical support, and community integration services that restored dignity and possibility.

And today, someone new is taking their first step toward that same hope.

Your gift becomes the first steady ground beneath an immigrant’s feet.
