USCRI is excited to welcome Gabriel Vachon-Poulin as a new case aide for the Preferred Communities Intensive Case Management Program at USCRI Vermont!

“As a case aide, I help our families create & fulfill plans of actions toward their self-sufficiency. Being part of such an amazing team of professionals has been an eye-opener. So far, I enjoy the intricate process of learning more about our families: how to help them overcome their past and present challenges; accompany them in their successes and struggles; and workaround with the wealth and lack of resources available to them.

Outside of work, you will most probably find me outdoors; trekking or camping somewhere in beautiful Vermont. I never have enough of its luscious green mountains, especially after a decade of studying and gaining work experience in the tropics (picking up a few endemic languages along the way). Even though I am fairly new to the community, I have always felt a connection to this land as I grew up in the Eastern Townships in my native Canada. Thank you again to the team for such a warm welcome.”
