USCRI is excited to welcome Julianne DeGuardi as our new READY4Lify Program Coordinator at USCRI Vermont.

“My favorite part of the job so far has been working directly with and learning from clients, as well as collaborating with and learning from all of the staff members at USCRI. As I continue implementing the READY4Life program, I look forward to becoming more immersed in the local community and building collaborative relationships with more clients and community partners.

“I studied Spanish and Global Studies at St. Lawrence University, which inspired my interest in immigrant and refugee advocacy work. Before coming to Vermont, I lived in Denver, Colorado for about five years and worked at various organizations engaging in both education and immigration advocacy. Most recently, I was living in Ecuador working as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at La Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi.”

“When I’m not at work I enjoy cooking and sharing meals with family and friends. I also love singing karaoke and spending time outdoors running, hiking, cycling, or really any activity that gets me outside!”
