On December 17, as part of the #GRF Progress Review, the USCRI Latin America and Caribbean team participated in a meeting with Mexican authorities and organizations from the MIRPS CSO/RLOS Mechanism, held at the Permanent Mission of Mexico.
During the meeting, the progress achieved by the organizations that make up the MIRPS Platform was highlighted, along with the key role of national governments in consolidating these results across the seven countries that form this regional cooperation mechanism.
We thank Ambassador Francisca Méndez for hosting this important event, as well as Xadeni Méndez, General Coordinator of the Mexican Commission for Refugee Assistance, for reaffirming the Mexican government’s commitment to continued collaboration with civil society and refugees to advance their protection and integration.
