USCRI is excited to welcome Felicity Rodriguez as our new Youth Empowerment Case Aide in Vermont.

“I primarily with the Ready4Life Program here at USCRI Vermont. Although this is my focus, I also help around the USCRI office when needed, which has given me the opportunity to learn more about different programs, the day-to-day duties of my colleagues, and how the office functions. Although I am still very new to the organization, everyone has been so welcoming and friendly, which makes working more fun. I appreciate everyone’s effort to truly support and build relationships with all the families we work with.

A little bit about myself: I am originally from the Bronx, New York and came to Vermont for schooling. I graduated from St. Michels’ College in Colchester with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology & Equity Studies. There I was heavily involved in our multicultural center and was able to serve first-generation, BIPoC, and International Students by obtaining various leadership roles, which has really shaped the populations I want to continue working with.

My time outside of work consists of mostly spending time with friends and being at home. I enjoy learning more about spirituality, going to yoga, and journaling. I really appreciate my downtime and watch a lot of music, tv shows, and podcasts.

I am looking forward to overall learning more about the ins and outs of USCRI while also connecting with the families that we help and support. I am excited to continue working and growing to better serve our families to the best of my ability.”
