USCRI is excited to welcome Tara Beattie as our new Case Aid at USCRI Vermont!

“I work primarily with the Ready4Life program, which helps empower youth as they navigate the transition to young adulthood. My work involves client outreach, helping with Ready4Life workshops, and maintaining communication with families in our program. Although I am still new to this position, I have really enjoyed getting involved in the different parts of the organization and seeing how everyone works together towards a common goal. I graduated from UVM with a B.S. in Natural Resources Ecology that helped shaped my understanding of our landscape and our impact on it. I believe how we treat each other directly correlates to how we treat the world we live in. Growing up in Vermont has given me a great appreciation for this state, and I am excited to be able to give back to my community in this new role at USCRI Vermont. In my free time I enjoy baking, crafting, and adventuring outdoors.”
