Updates from USCRI El Salvador

March 10, 2025

  • The Chalatenango office was able to place a young returnee in a job after completing a three-month agreement between USCRI and a well-known company in the restaurant sector. She now has a permanent job in a customer service position.

  • In San Salvador, four women returnees have benefited from different projects, two young women started a technical course in bartending at CESAL (Centro Educativo de América Latina) and two other young women were able to obtain a seed capital thanks to FESPAD (Fundación de Estudios para la Aplicación del Derecho) to start their businesses, one of them in beauty services and the other with a sale of basic necessities and food.

  • In Usulután, five young people completed their training with USCRI, two of them obtaining jobs in the areas of customer service and construction assistant, and three more received training in cosmetology and office automation, as well as health care and legal services.
