USCRI is a private sponsor organization (PSO) for Welcome Corps and assists private sponsorship groups in resettling refugees.
Welcome Corps is a private refugee sponsorship program launched by the U.S. Department of State and administered by a consortium led by the Community Sponsorship Hub.
Welcome Corps creates new opportunities for Americans to welcome and support newly arrived refugees in their communities through the existing U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP). Sponsor groups of at least five adults will greet their sponsored refugee or refugee family, secure and prepare housing, enroll children in school, help adults find employment, and bridge connections between refugees and the community. Community groups, universities or colleges, and employers are also able to sponsor refugees.
USCRI works with private sponsorship groups to help support refugees in their first 90 days in the United States. We provide resettlement expertise to sponsor groups. We also ensure that sponsor groups have guidance and support throughout their sponsorship experience.
