Immigration Legal Services for Afghan Arrivals (ILSAA)

By USCRI May 18, 2023

Tens of thousands of evacuated Afghans now seek refuge in the United States. Many Afghan newcomers, including Afghan humanitarian parolees, face complex immigration legal challenges as they work toward securing a permanent future here.

USCRI is proud to announce that, through funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, we are now implementing Immigration Legal Services for Afghan Arrivals (ILSAA). ILSAA provides Eligible Afghan Arrivals (EAAs) across the country with the free legal services they need to navigate the U.S. legal immigration system by providing access to free immigration legal services, trainings, resources, peer networking opportunities. We also build the capacity of Legal Service Providers (LSPs) to better serve EAAs.
