The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) and The Children’s Village hosted a virtual panel on April 19, 2022 as part of the Where We Stand: A 20-Year Retrospective of the Unaccompanied Children’s Program in the United States. Moderated by USCRI Vice President AnnaMarie Bena and Policy Analyst Jenny Rodriguez, the panel featured three distinguished former unaccompanied children, Ana Tello Duran, Gerson Navidad and Alejandra Valdez, who shared their inspiring stories of resilience.
