USCRI administers the Trafficking Victim Assistance Program (TVAP) for the US Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office on Trafficking in Persons (OTIP), contracting with a network of over 200 providers across the US and US territories who provide direct services to survivors of trafficking.

USCRI improves the work of direct service providers through training and technical assistance programs including, Project TRUST, a collaborative endeavor led by USCRI, and funded under the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) within the US Department of Justice.

Our TVAP Program

TVAP helps foreign national survivors of human trafficking achieve HHS certification and access case management services. TVAP funds support basic needs, health services, legal services, and educational and job training and placement programs.

If you are a provider of human services, you may have the experience and expertise to assist survivors of human trafficking. Many providers also offer services to refugees and immigrants, survivors of domestic and sexual violence, health care, or legal assistance.
