IRAP and USCRI

March 10, 2025

A collaboration between USCRI and IRAP (International Refugee Assistance Project) began at the end of February with the objective of strengthening academic research on the relationship between climate change and forced migration. This collaboration will allow for the collection of qualitative and quantitative data on the impact of climate change on migratory travel in the Americas.

The U.S.-Mexico Border Program team at USCRI LAC will be responsible for this implementation in Tijuana’s shelters that will contribute to IRAP-led research through 2026.
