Part 3 of USCRI’s Series: In Search of Safety

By USCRI May 27, 2021

On this week’s installment of USCRI’s “In Search of Safety” Facebook Live Series, Vice President AnnaMarie Bena talks to Managing Attorney Hila Moss about her work overseeing USCRI’s Legal Services Program and the process to help Unaccompanied Children navigate the immigration system.

USCRI has been serving immigrants by providing legal services since 1911. The Immigration Legal Services Program offers low-cost, professional legal representation to low-income refugees and immigrants and their families with family- and humanitarian-based immigration matters. Our attorneys assist families by defending their rights, promoting self-sufficiency, and forging community partnerships. With our help, refugees and immigrants are able to begin their lives in the United States with a sense of security and with the knowledge that their families are protected and respected.

Join us next Thursday, June 3rd at 2:00 p.m. on Facebook Live for Part 4 of the series featuring Marie Olenych, Director, Trafficking and Human Services.
