The two-week event was hosted at St. Michael’s College in Colchester from July 24 to August 4 and was created to serve as a valuable pathway for refugee and New American youth age 14-20 to investigate the broad range of educational and career opportunities available to them. Sponsors included St. Michael’s College, Mascoma Bank Foundation, Wormser Fund of the Vermont Community Foundation, Bill Marks and the Elinor and Maynard Marks Family Fund, Vermont State Refugee Office, and Vermont State Employees Credit Union.
